The Chicago Sky will be without one of their bigs when they return to action. Astou Ndour-Fall will sit out the 2022 WNBA season to take a break and rest.
The Spanish center has spent three of her last four seasons with the Chicago Sky. Coming off the bench in 2021, Ndour-Fall averaged 6.6 PPG, 4.8 RPG, and 0.8 BPG while playing 17.1 MPG.
In the wake of this news, the Sky are certainly in need of some depth at the forward and center positions. After figuring out their guard situation with the re-signing of Courtney Vandersloot, expect the Sky to target a forward or center in the upcoming draft.
