New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is preparing for a come-back season after missing most of 2023-24 with an Achilles injury. Rodgers wants to hold nothing back when he returns to the field, but he is also making his presence known off the field. Rogers gave a mocking comparison of United States President Joe Biden to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Rodgers revealed his intriguing aspirations for the US president in a conversation with Tucker Carlson.

“I’d love to see Joe Biden give an interview where he can speak on the history of the United States in the same way Putin talked about the history of [Russia],” Rodgers said via The Tucker Carlson Show.

Carlson followed Rogers’ comment with a more lighthearted proposition.

“I’d love to see Biden do an interview where he shows how to operate a microwave,” Carlson replied.

Aaron Rodgers’ Joe Biden-Vladimir Putin comments will be sure to spark a wide array of reactions. This is not the first time the star quarterback has made headlines for his interesting takes.

In December of 2023, Rodgers said those who conspired about his Achilles injury should be required to announce their vaccination status.

“Everybody could know at that point that they have their puppet masters who are puppeteering them to say this certain thing about this guy and that they’re still upset that I believe in medical freedom,” Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee Show.

Former quarterback and Thursday Night Football analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick took Rodgers’ comments to heart and hilariously trolled the Jets QB. Fitzpatrick told Rodgers he had a couple of questions for him before comically introducing himself as “twice vaccinated”:

It seems as though Rodgers never fails to be caught in interesting dialogues. Regardless, he will focus on his on-the-field production to help the Jets for the 2024-25 season.

Aaron Rodgers looks to take Jets to the next level in 2024-25

Rodgers is undoubtedly one of the best quarterbacks to play in the NFL. He has 19 years of experience and loads of success to show for it. The 40-year-old QB has amassed 10 Pro Bowl, four AP All-Pro, and four AP MVP selections. In addition, he is a one-time Super Bowl champion and has totaled too many passing yards and touchdowns to count.

Rogers spent his first 18 seasons with the Green Bay Packers and solidified himself as a franchise legend. One of Rodgers’ most productive seasons in Green Bay came during the 2011-12 season. He threw for a career-high 4,643 yards and 45 TDs.

The talented QB continued to provide stout production for the Packers for several more years, but change was inevitable. The New York Jets traded for Aaron Rodgers in April of 2023, marking the end of his Green Bay tenure.

Rodgers and the Jets had high hopes for the 2023-24 season, but the QB devastatingly suffered an Achilles injury that caused him to miss all but one game of the year. With Rodgers returning healthy, the Jets have a chance to make the playoffs for the first time since 2010.

Can the veteran QB lead New York to the postseason in his first full season with the team?
